Incoming material is checked on arrival. The first article is measured across all dimensions — batch production starts only after it passes. During production, patrol inspectors check parts on the floor with digital calipers, plug and ring gauges and height gauges. Before shipment, key dimensions are 100% inspected (the rest sampled) and the data is supplied. See Quality Inspection.
